Bejtlich Speaking at RSA Conference 2006
My proposal to speak at the RSA Conference 2006 was accepted out of 1500+ submissions. I will present in San Jose, CA on Tuesday, 14 February 2006 from 1735 to 1825. The subject is Traffic-Centric Incident Response and Forensics.

Congratulations, man! That's really really cool!! :-)) Go spread the NSM-word to the masses! :-)
I would not have attended if I didn't get a free pass for speaking. These are not intended for people paying their own way. As an independent business owner, I would not have paid to send myself there. As it is I had to burn United miles and Marriott reward points to finance my airfare and hotel room! :)
I hope it is not going to be too different from what you are presenting at ShmooCom ... I also am one that skips the RSA conference even though the company will send me to any one conference a year I choose.

Why are these conferences so damn expensive? Their academic pass is $595! Are there any unofficial ways to get in?

I hate the San Jose airport!

ShmooCon will be centered around a Sguil demo. RSA will be more about theory, techniques, and tools for network IR and forensics.
