Lancope's Take on NetFlow

Earlier this year I had a chance to try a Lancope Stealthwatch appliance. Recently Adam Powers from Lancope weighed in on the focus-ids list with ways NetFlow records can be best utilized for security purposes. This is part of a thread started by Andy Cuff (aka Talisker). To hear more from Lancope, check out their WebEx Wednesday at 11 AM eastern.

David Sames started a second interesting focus-ids thread about IDS evaluation. The thread evolved into a discussion of the functions of various security devices. After a great post by Devdas Bhagat, I joined the fray. You can even see a vendor say I make "wrongheaded argument[s]". Oooh, scary. :)
