TaoSecurity Blog Under Construction

I'm experimenting with adding a comments feature to the blog. The easiest way to do that was to use a new template. You may see additional changes. Also, links which were previously in this format

http://taosecurity.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_taosecurity_archive.html#110129970708337670

now take this format

http://taosecurity.blogspot.com/2004/11/using-portsnap-to-update-freebsd-ports.html

The old format appears to still work, however.

A little bit on Linux would also help. FreeBSD rocks!
Thanks for the comments. I am not happy that only Blogger users can identify themselves when posting, but this is better than nothing.

About Linux -- I am not a daily Linux user, although I administer several systems running Linux. I do not believe I could contribute much of anything to the body of Linux knowledge.

I write about FreeBSD because it is my primary OS (on my laptops, desktops, and servers). I try to document what I do for future reference and in the hopes it also helps Blog readers.
Gregg -- Yes, I can see old comments. I currently have all comments being copied to my Gmail account. The email includes a link to the story from which the comment was posted, so I can reply there too.

I just posted a test message to the earliest old story (Monday, May 10, 2004) and it is now available online.
